Preston Ross and Miles Watkins
Our journey as a brand started out in a backyard, selling second-hand clothing. Our creative ventures with fashion developed from experimenting with thrifted clothes in an attempt to bring life to previously neglected items. The idea of turning something that would otherwise be thrown away into something completely unique is what ignited the spark. We began to take things more seriously around a year ago after being around people who have a similar vision.
From the beginning, we have always worked with low-end machines and resources, forcing us to resort to a more unconventional way of fashion. It has always been a fun challenge for us to create using only what we have available. Having zero formal training and creating everything out of our garage and basement has shown us the importance of being resourceful and self-sufficient. For our brand, it’s not just about sales; we value the process of developing new concepts and seeing our ideas brought to life. There is a genuine excitement that comes from taking on a new project, seeing an idea constantly change and evolve, and building on it step by step. The whole process of making something from nothing is what keeps us going. Our team embraces the idea of recycling and making it more accessible for the people who appreciate sustainability. Repurposing materials into works of art has opened up a whole new world for us, showing us the possibilities of pushing sustainability and recycling within fashion. We continue to expand on our love for learning to make clothes and pride ourselves on keeping everything handcrafted.
