Mike Sainristil
Mike Sainristil is a Haitian-American Cornerback for the Washington Commanders. After fleeing Haiti, his family settled in Everett, Massachusetts where Mike solidified himself as one of the best players in the state. As a senior he was the Massachusetts 2018 Gatorade Player of the Year. After playing both sides of the ball in high school, he committed to Michigan as a Wide Receiver. In 2022, as Captain of the Michigan football team, Sainristil moved to cornerback. He became first team All American and helped lead his team to the 2023 big ten championship game where he was named MVP. He then went on to record the game clinching interception in the 2024 college football playoff national championship intercepting Michael Penix Jr. and returning it 81 yards.
Mike was selected by the Washington Commanders in the second round of the 2024 NFL draft.
